Gingham Style

With so many things lingering on my to do list and SO much going on this week/weekend like birthdays, and blog meetups and conferences and photo shoots, I have decided to blog instead of doing any of the 2458265 things on my list to prepare. About my outfit this weekend, nonetheless.

I'm a real go getter dontchaknow.

First of all, I would like to take a moment to tell you all how super greatful I am for each and every one of you that click the links to read my shenanigans. I have gained some of the best friends ever from blogging and they just keep comin and I am so beyond blessed to have each and every one of you!

Second of all, when to many things happen all at once I kind of shut down despite my best intentions. So when I had like 50 Instagram likes, 3 tweets and 7 emails this weekend I had a mini anxiety attack and just chose to be happy in the moment and enjoy the love. So if you are one of the folks that assisted in my social media perm-a-grin this weekend THANK YOU.

Now, moving on to the clothes!
There is no rhyme or reason to this post whatsoever but I really liked how I looked and felt in this so I wanted to share :)
I was still sick as a dog in these photos so please excuse the half smile and squinty eyes.
Oooo look at that sexy backdrop! Garage doors. Gotta love em.

Gingham button up I Old Navy  Cardigan I Old Navy  Undershirt I Old Navy
Jeans I American Eagle  Flip Flops I DSW

1. Yes, there is a special place in my heart for Old Navy
2. I typically ONLY buy jeans from American Eagle (this is the first pair of skinnys I have ever purchased)
3. Yes,  I wore flip flops in a what-i-wore post. Judge me.

Oooo also, I love me some macro shots. Of just about anything. Including cardigans apparently. I just love the colors here.
So, congratulations for making it thru this hot mess of a post. I sincerely love you. Bunches. Come back on a different day when I am out of my cough drop coma. :)
Happy Monday love bugs!

  2. I love using the macro setting on my camera...it makes my photos look like someone who knows what they are doing took them...haha. Sometimes if I get too many comments on my blog in one day I sort of freak out, so I know where you are coming from.
