Date Night with Mr. B & Vday gift idea!

Last night Mr. B and I went out for date night.
{Hello crappy Iphone picture}
I always enjoy my time with him where we can get away from the hustle bustle of life that happens during the week {and sometimes on the weekends too!}

However, I wanted to share this particular date night because Mr. B cashed in on one of his Christmas presents last night and it was a big hit so if you are looking for a good Valentines idea for your Mr. feel free to use this one. I borrowed the Idea from Camille over at Friday, We're in Love!

Pre-planned Pre-paid for date night!

I am a very indecisive girl and whether he would like to admit it or not Mr. B is not the best at making decisions either. When I saw this idea last year I knew I wanted to use it.

I went and got gift cards to a couple of our favorite restaurants and for some fun date night-y activities, printed up some descriptions and stuffed them in a couple Manila envelopes. SO simple and ensures that we don't have to wast time on making the decision on where to go on our nights out!
If you are an Arizona resident and havent gone to La Piazza Al Forno go there right now!
Ok, fine, go the next time you want some Delicious Italian food!
We have only been here once before and loved it so much. It was features on Diner's, Drive-in's and Dives and has so many other Phoenix accolades.
The ravioli is to die for and Mr. B got a calzone that was stuffed full of deliciousness.

A canoli to Finnish it off and we made our way to the movies with full bellies.

We went to see The Gangster Squad. I may have fallen asleep for a hot second.... Mr. B says yes, I say prove it.
This really is the way to go for date nights and I will definitely be using this for gift giving holidays going forward. {or maybe it will be a spontaneous quasi RAOK for Mr. B some day too ;) }

I hope you all are enjoying your weekends!

Until next time...

  2. So I'm from AZ and just moved to SoCal a few months ago. One of my favorite places for date night is Grazie in Old Town Scottsdale. One of my friends' families owns it and the food is great. Also save room for the Dolce for dessert! Pizza crust, nutella and banana covered in ice cream! Yum!
